It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Corrine Luverne Adams, who peacefully left this world on October 26, 2024, at the age of 92, in Columbia City, Oregon. Corrine was born on December 30, 1931, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, to proud parents who nurtured her in a loving home. She spent her early years in the Midwest before moving to Oregon, where she made a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Corrine was a devoted wife to her late husband, Harold Adams, who preceded her in death. Together, they shared many years of love, partnership, and joy. While she will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her, her legacy of kindness, strength, and grace will endure.
Corrine’s life was marked by her unwavering faith, dedication to family, and a deep love for the community. She was known for her warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit, always finding ways to bring joy and comfort to those around her. Whether through her thoughtful words, her generous heart, or her joyful laughter, Corrine touched countless lives in ways big and small.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on November 19, 2024, at Skyline Memorial Gardens, located in Portland, Oregon.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a charity of choice that reflects Corrine’s love for helping others.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and many dear friends, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Rest in peace, Corrine. You will be deeply missed.
