Dale Eugene Bate

Dale was born in Provo, Utah. He was raised in Provo by his loving parents Whitford and Bina Bate. He graduated from Provo high school.

Dale met his wife Susan in Oregon and were married in Cathlamet, Washington where they lived together for many wonderful years.

Dale worked for USPS as a clerk until his retirement and was a member of The Bridge Church in Cathlamet, Washington.

A lover of dogs, whom he referred to as his best friend. Loyal and kind are his furry friends, much like Dale was in life.

Dale is survived by his wife Susan, daughter Lisa and Husband Steve, Son Jason and wife Jenifer, stepson Benjamin, stepdaughter Jodi and husband Nathan, his grandchildren, his sister Carole, nieces Andrea, Debbie, Cheryl, Cynthia, nephew Kevin, numerous great nieces and nephews, and his ex-wife Tony.

Dale is preceded in death by his loving parents Whitford and Bina, and his brother Lee.

A Committal Service will be held at Finley Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 6801 SW Sunset Hwy, Portland, OR 97225, on July 31, 2026, at 2:00 pm.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Bridge Church, 503 WA-409, Cathlamet, Cathlamet, WA 98612, on August 1, 2026, at 11:00 am.
