Dan-Thanh Ngoc Nguyen, age 24, of Portland, Oregon passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born November 22, 1994 in Saigon, Vietnam to parents, Matthew and Ngoc-Diep Nguyen. One year after Dan-Thanh was born, she and her mom united with her dad in Santa Ana, California.
Dan-Thanh was a lovely, vibrant, and full-of-life young woman, who spread nothing but genuine care and humor to those she loved. She was a loyal and best friend to many and her fun-loving nature made an immediately lovable and strong impression on everyone she met. As one of the hardest working people, she attended University of Findlay in Ohio and graduated from Portland State University in December 2016 with a B.S. in Business Administration in Accounting and all while working multiple part-time jobs that she enjoyed. After graduation, she began full-time job as an accountant at Schwindt & Co., and continued with her part-time jobs.
She liked hiking, hanging out with her friends, and she never missed an opportunity to spend time with her family and younger sister. Her personality was full of heart, potatoes, and inside jokes that will forever be cherished and never forgotten.
Dan-Thanh is survived by her parents, Matthew and Ngoc-Diep Nguyen; her sister, Vivian Nguyen; her grandmother; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
