

Tae attended Flint and Hamady schools in Michigan before moving to Portland, Oregon in 1994, where he attended Jefferson and Sunset High Schools. He moved to Ketchikan, AK where he received his High School diploma. After High School, Dante attended the University of Michigan, then transferred to Portland State University.
When Dante moved back to Flint, he met his wife, LaCrisha M. Walton. In that union, Dante acquired 4 children. He loved them dearly, a son Johnathan, Daughters Joneva, Eunique, and Michiko. He also became a grandpa (papa) to Grandson Josiah.
Tae Found the job he loved when he started driving trucks. He was a proud cross country truck driver for several years before having to give it up to MS.
Dante (Big Tae) Wallace leaves behind to cherish his memories; his mom, Terry Jones of Portland Ore., his Dad, Willie (Beverly) Wallace of Flint, Michigan; his children, Jonathan Butler, Michiko Marrow, Joneva Butler, and Eunique Johnson; his grandson, Josiah; Brothers, Bruce (Heather) Jones, DaVaugh (Melva) Jones, Willie Jamal Wallace Jr., and Jordan Wallace; his sister, Carmen (Dedrie) Wallace; also an aunt; three uncles; and many special nieces, and nephews. Also his close friend, Vladimir (Stuff) Mask, and a very special friend, Mjannies E. Washington.
Dante was proceeded in death by his grandparents Frank Jones Sr., Maudine Jones, James Wallace Sr., and Gloria Albiar.
Dante's Family would like to thank Gary Reynolds and Donovan Cruz for all their help and kindness to Dante in his time of need.
A funeral service for Dante will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt Scott Blvd., Portland, OR 97086. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
