Dave was the son of Lewis and Jeanette Passon. He was a graduate of Oregon State with a Masters Degree from Michigan State. He was employed by Oregon State over 30 years as an Extension Agent and worked from several office across the State. He also served his country honorably with the U.S. Navy.
He enjoyed many years of Square Dancing, but his true love was the hours he spent in his workshop making toys and furniture. He also enjoyed restoring antique furniture. After his retirement, he enjoyed RV'ing across the U.S., New Zealand, and Australia.
Dave passed away December 28th at the Willamette Falls Foster Home in West Linn, OR, where he had resided for a year.
He is survived by his wife, Earlean Passon, a daughter, Julie Fundak, a brother, Dan Passon, two sisters, Nancy Whitaker and Sharon Goska, two step-sons, Glenn and Keith Horton, their spouses, and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
At David's request, no public services will be held.
