

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, David pursued higher education with dedication, earning a Bachelor of Science degree and later graduating from George Fox University in December 2005 with a Master of Business Information Systems. His commitment to learning and professional growth was evident throughout his life.
David honorably served in the Vietnam War, demonstrating immense bravery and resilience. He earned three Purple Hearts for injuries sustained during a firefight, a testament to his courage and sacrifice.
A devoted member of the Baha’i faith, David found strength and guidance in his spiritual beliefs. His faith was an integral part of his life and values.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Melody (Lindahl) Pixley; their sons Aaron Pixley, Benjamin Pixley, and Christopher Pixley; Christopher’s wife, Tammy Yamamoto; and grandchildren Hazel and Henry Pixley. He was predeceased by his sister, Lori Eberlein.
David’s legacy lives on through the love he shared with family and friends. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
A graveside service for David will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 6801 SW Sunset Hwy, Portland, OR 97225.
