Dave Staley Aug. 11, 1944 – June 9, 2020 Dave died peacefully at home after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Coeur d’Alene, ID to Ernest and Mamie Belle Staley, his family moved to Lincoln, CA where he graduated from Lincoln H.S. in 1962. Contributions can be made in Dave’s memory to SnowCap in Gresham or the Oregon Food Bank. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a later date.

David was the best Baby Brother any big Sister could have. He was always so happy and easy going. He was the same way all his life. He loved his family, his devotion to his Granddaughter was epic. He was always there if you needed him without question.
You left us way too soon, we had trips to take, rocks to find, puzzles to compete and family gatherings to attend. Your laugh was the greatest, your heart was kind and your sense of humor was the best.
You left a hole in my heart, I will always miss you. I love you David.

My brother, my friend. Any time I ever needed help with anything, Dave was there for me. He liked to say "yes" and would enthusiastically help with any project. I will always miss his smile, his quirky sense of humor, his quickness to laugh, but most of all, his love. He was a good man. A good person. My love to his family.
