Denise B. Kruger was born in Alaska to Glen and Myrtle Bird and grew up in Oregon, graduating from Astoria High School. She met the love of her life, Robert Kruger, in 1989, and the two were married on August 10, 1991.
Denise worked for many years at Meier & Frank and later spent over 35 years with Nike, earning multiple service awards throughout her career. She was known for her cheerful spirit, her willingness to help anyone in need, and her deep affection for the couple’s beloved cats.
A collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and Christmas cancer angels, Denise found joy in the small, sentimental pieces of life. She hoped to be remembered as someone who was always there for her loved ones—with kindness, steadiness, and a smile.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, and numerous first cousins, who will all miss her dearly.
