Scott was born in Fullerton, California. He attended Troy High School and then went on to learn landscaping and then to obtain his General Contractors License. He was a dedicated worker who took pride in his work and his many clients can attest to that. His clients became his friends. Scott was a life-long smoker and passed away of lung cancer after a valiant 15-month battle. He was taken care of by his cousin, Cheryl Black and her partner Norma Black, prior to coming to Oregon. Scott came up to Oregon to spend his final days with family and his dogs. If you knew Scott, you would know that his favorite activity was gambling. He loved to just sit and gamble as he said that it was relaxing, and he did this up to 8 days before he passed away.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother and father, Priscilla and Gordon Nicholson, brother Norman Nicholson and sister Pam Nicholson. Scott is survived by ex-wife Kristen Murray, sisters Linda Lowry, Wendy Ettelson and brother Keith Nicholson, nephews and nieces, life-long friend Glen, cousin Lenny and dogs Bella and Pepita.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the following in memory of Scott D. Nicholson.
