Dona Clara Payne

Dona loved the Lord with all her heart, mind and soul. She loved and adored her husband Kenneth deeply. She loved her family and was a fierce protector of her children and grandchildren. She wants everyone to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior and friend. Don’t go another day without Jesus.

She is also survived by her 6 children, William Steven Payne, Susan Danielle Harman, Timothy O’Patrick Payne, Kenneth William Payne, Jr., James Leon Payne and Donna Elaine Kempenich. She is also survived by 14 grand kids, Sara Payne, Nathan Harman, Amanda Shannon, Rachael Schafer & Kyle Harman, Timothy, Myranda, Josh, Summer, Krystal, Kenneth, Kayla Payne. Andrew & Daniel Kempenich. She is also survived by 22 great grand children.

A celebration of life will be held January 10, 2023 at Calvary Chapel South East Church at 2:00 pm. Address: 13520 SE Pheasant Ct, Milwaukie, OR 97222 . Flowers and cards may be sent there.

-Dona’s interests include prayer & meditation in the morning.

-She was a Sheriff for Washington County Sheriff’s Department

-She was a cook at the Washington County Jail.

-She graduated from high school the same year as her fourth born child Kenneth.

-She loved to knit and make hat, scarfs, blankets and more for all her family members

-She & Ken renewed their vows after 50 years of marriage.

-She loved to cook and didn’t mind passing her family recipes along to her daughter in laws.
