Hey Abuelito,
Didn’t know you too well but my mom did. She loved and cared about you. And that is really important to me. I do remember the couple times you came over to Oregon to visit and hang with us for a bit, especially when we did the campfire pit over at Tia Rosie’s. I hope you liked the card tricks I showed you. I had just recently started practicing. Today will be a memory of not how you died, but how you lived. I won’t say goodbye to you, but instead say “ See you later.” I love you Grandpa.

Love,
Tomas Rodriguez

Although I wasn’t able to meet you in person my daughter Mina Rose was able to and for that I am so very grateful. I know she loved and adored meeting her great grandpa and you will forever be treasured not only by her but by the many others who loved you.
