Don always stood out because he was so tall, but he was also very modest and you would not find out much about him without an interview. I did not know he had a Phd until I read his obituary. He was also very stoic; suffering from injuries to his foot and leg that refused to heal but he would not complain. His love and devotion to Carmen and his daughters was obvious. He will be missed by us all.

Don joined our life group in 2018. He was a man of few words, but when he said something, you listened. He always listened to our discussions with sincere ackowledgement and positive responses. He was such a gentle spirit with a gracious smile.
Don, we miss you! Thank God we will see you again in heaven :)

I remember meeting Don and Carmen in the new members class at church. What I remember about Don was his care for the marginalized in our society. I also remember he had such a sharp mind and never just followed the crowd in his thinking.
He was quiet and expressed himself in few words but it was very clear that he loved Jesus and Carmen very much.
