On December 28, 1956, Donna exchanged wedding vows with Macil L. Flye.
Donna loved animals and children, and worked most of her life caring for either or both. She owned her own aviculture business and was actively involved in organizations such as Lents Citizens for Youth, Exchange Students, Refugees and Healing the Children. She also served as the president of the Clinton Kelly Elementary School PTA.
Donna passed away peacefully in Portland surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, August 29, 2013 in Willamette National Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Macil; children, Cheryl, Robert (Laura), Michael and Shawn (Nancy); 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
