Donna Jean Shaw

Donna was born on October 30, 1943 in Seattle, Washington to William James and Eunice Della (Babe) Robinson. She was the 2nd of 4 children.

After graduating from high school with honors, Donna met Don in 1961 and they were married in 1962. They were married for 58 years when Don passed on November 23, 2020. They started their life together in Seattle, Washington where they had 3 of their 5 children, Valerie, Michael and Ken. Donna was a devoted mother and wife and spent her days taking care of her family. They moved to Portland, Oregon in 1972 where they gave birth to twin girls, Julie and Angela. This is where they built their lifetime home and filled it with memories.

Donna devoted her entire life to doing things for others and was counted on by her family for her never-ending love and support. Donna was a wonderful cook and would stuff you so full that you could barely move. She had a sense of humor and could make you laugh with one of her many expressions or impressions and she made her grandchildren giggle with joy. Donna’s presence in the lives of her family was like a beacon of light that made everyone shine brighter and she will be greatly missed by all.

Donna is survived by her 5 Children, Valerie, Mike, Ken, Julie and Angela and her Son-In-Laws; Larry and Jim and Daughter-In-Law; Carla. She was blessed with 8 Grandchildren; Michael Jr., Brittny, Brett, Adrian, Kory, Kenra, Austin and Tyler and 2 Great Grandchildren: Chloe and Kacey.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father and her 3 siblings; William (Billy), Carl (Jimmy) and Cherice. Both of her brothers resided in Portland, Oregon with their families and her sister and family resided in Seattle, Washington.
