Doralene Fay Leach

She was born on October 3, 1941 in Walla Walla, Washington to William F. and Margaret V. Losh. She was raised in Spokane, where she graduated from high school in 1960.

Not long after leaving school, Doralene met her husband, Douglas Leach, through mutual friends. The two were married on November 13, 1965, and together they enjoyed a long and loving marriage until Douglas’s passing in 1992.

Throughout her life, she worked as an Office Manager for Associated Administrators Inc. until her retirement in 2001. She gave them 34 years of dedicated service.

Doralene was old school tough. She was strongly committed to her family and work. She raised four children, and her family grew to include six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was independent to the very end. Her family was her life, and she will be dearly missed by many.

Doralene is survived by her children, Renee Canham, Kendra Moore, James Leach, and Lyle Leach; her grandchildren, Steven Canham, Kristen Maulden, Ethan and Eldon Leach, Kayla and Tyler Echang; and her great-grandchildren, Dean Canham, Abigail Maulden, Leah Leach, Weston and Jackson Leach, and Hiraya Rubi.

It was Doralene’s preference to have no funeral or memorial services.
