Doug worked extremely hard and such long hours, so faithful to his boss’ in Beaverton and Portland.
Over the many years of his employment, so honest, very humble, and always walking up stairs and down
for the luggage and shoes business he was in, to show customers over the years, this wore out his legs
and feet.
He was an Excellent Artist, and spent all his time and efforts running his own Gallery in Gatlinburg, TN.
He had such joy being his own boss, greeting his customers each day. His customers were amazed at his own style of Painting and Photography work to be stunning, refreshing, smart and advanced!
He got to attend exciting events and places such as the Biltmore Mansion, the Indianapolis 500, The Master's Golf Tournament, and the perfect replica of Noah's Ark in Kentucky.
Doug gave a lot of his hard earned money to poor and hungry outreaches, he wanted to feed the hungry and cared for them dearly!
A graveside inurnment for Douglas will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Garden of La Cresta at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 6801 SW Sunset Hwy, Portland, Oregon 97225.
