Doug Pease Sr., born on August 18, 1943, in Corvallis, Oregon, to Mildred and Albert Pease, passed away on January 19, 2025, in Happy Valley, Oregon. Doug was raised in Corvallis, where he attended Corvallis High School and later graduated from Oregon State University, proudly remaining a lifelong Beaver fan. After earning his degree, Doug became a CPA working as a CFO.
Doug married Phyllis MacEntee and together they built a wonderful life filled with love and memories. Doug enjoyed cycling, reading, and watching movies, often sharing these activities with his loved ones. He was a kind, family-oriented man who cherished time spent with those he cared for.
Doug is survived by his wife, Phyllis Pease; son Doug (Cindy) Pease; daughter Tami Debord; ten grandchildren—Jeremy Lewis, Audriana Pease, Kaija Pease, Kian Pease, Jesse Debord, Emma Debord, Monica Baker, Travis Baker, Aden Debord, and Lauren Solano; and one great-grandson, Sawyer Baker.
An open house to celebrate Doug’s life will be held on February 1, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the family home
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doug's memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
