

Duane Edwin Drum, of Beaverton, OR died unexpectedly Tuesday January 25, 2011.
Duane was born in Warren PA, lived in Hendersonville, NC and after the death of his Parents moved to live with his brother Dale Drum and Dale’s partner Joseph Murphy in Portland, OR. Duane loved fishing, and often talked about the medals he won during his career as a Special Olympian. He was loved by everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends from around the country.
Duane is survived by his family; Brothers, David and Debara Drum of Morristown, TN, Dan and Yvonne Drum of Sugar Grove, PA, Dale and Joseph Drum of Portland, OR. Sister Darlene Hollingsworth of Hendersonville, NC, Step Mother Anna Drum, and had a very special relationship with his nephew Alexander Pierce of Greensboro, NC.
Duane was preceded in death by his Mother Eileen Patricia (Irons) Drum, his Father Gordon V. Drum and his loving dog Dorothy.
A memorial service will be held in Portland, OR on Friday January 28th at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Portland OR at 3:30 PM. Funeral arrangements are being organized by Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, in Warren PA. Burial will follow in McKean County Memorial Park, Mt. Alton, PA.
