Earl was born in Kankakee Illinois.
Earl Sykes was preceded in death by his parents Henry George Sykes and Pauline Sykes
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Sykes; his children Carmen Sykes, Ricky Pettiford (son-in-law), Vanessa Sykes of Las Angeles, Earl Sykes Jr., Donna and Russell Sykes. Brother; Henry George Sykes Jr., Sister; Paulette Washington, his Cousin's Ron and Ann Sykes.
Grandchildren: Jasmine and Savanna Pettiford, Xavier Sparrow, Paris and Russell Sykes and a host of Nieces , Nephews , Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
A Memorial service will be held at Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral Home at 1:00 am. Monday Feb 28, 2011. A graveside service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery.
