I guess my most prominent memories of Eddy are of my mom Gertrude , talking about how cute and sweet he was as a little boy ! I remember him myself , as being pretty quiet , and always very sweet , coming over to see my mom ! Also being very proud of his boys !

I always considered you my friend with memories sharing military stories, how proud you always were of the boys and your big smile when talking about them - we shared lunches and dinners a few times when you had time passing through Los Angeles - you were fun and funny from our greeting to our departure and now you are gone, where did the time go? You showed such class when talking briefly about my sister Pam even with your strained relationship. I know how much you loved your boys and they love you - your many fine traits have been handed down to your sons... you have always been a great brother in law, I will miss you Ed, Lovingly, Jack Barnes.
