Our mother, Granny and Great-Granny, Elizabeth Anne Gordon (nee: Zink), passed away May 28, 2026, peacefully in her sleep, despite a difficult preceding year. She is now free of distress and brokenness and is healed and whole with the Lord.
Elizabeth happily celebrated her 90th birthday with family on May 7th, 2026, and will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children: Heather and Jeffery, Heidi and Scott, and Peter and Amy; grandchildren: Jefferson and Lindsey, Chandler, Kirklan and Taylor, Jackson and Maria, McKenzie; Laurel and Mike, David and Sara, Morgan and Ryan; Christopher, Bryce; 10 great grandchildren; and her sister Judith and brother-in-law, Gordon.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Darryl
Gordon, her sister, Miriam Bertuleit, and her parents: Wilfred and Ruth Zink.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Finley Sunset Hills Mortuary on July 3, 2026, at 11am.
The family is thankful and grateful to the staff at Woodland Heights Assisted Living for their years of kind care of our Mom.
They also wish to thank Brighton Hospice for all their compassionate care during this past year.
