Elizabeth "Betty" A Granfield Hafer

Elizabeth Anne Hafer, was born on August 14, 1927 to Joseph and Alice Granfield in Anoka, Minnesota. Elizabeth grew up in Anoka and graduated high school in 1945. She worked for the telephone company and came to Oregon, to visit her Aunt. While she was in Portland, she met James Hafer. She went back to Anoka for a little while and then married James on June 25, 1947.

Elizabeth was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling in her spare time. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Thomas Hafer. She is survived by Steven Hafer of Portland, Oregon, Mary (Scott) Williams of Vancouver, Washington, Timothy ( Nancy) Hafer of Sacramento, California, Ann (Ben) Brownlee of Portland, Oregon, Catherine Rost of Portland, Oregon, Michael (Barbara) Hafer of Portland, Oregon, Patrick (Cara) Hafer of Portland, Oregon and sister, Rita Kovar of Anoka, Minnesota.
