Elle was a very friendly, creative, person, and smart marketer, with an overly sensitive soul. Taking after her mother, she would never hesitate to compliment someone; Whether a new bus driver on a job well-done, a beautiful stranger in a Brooklyn café; a transvestite with a great outfit on in the grocery store; or an older woman at the bus stop with fading looks who was so grateful for and lifted by the compliment. She started her career in advertising, beginning as a receptionist and being promoted over and over until she reached the level of Vice President at the age of 28. She was a stay-at-home mother for seven years and took immense pride in teaching her son, Van, to read; A 5-book-a-week passion that continues to this day. She achieved a Bachelors Of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Portland State University and loved every minute of being in school. She was addicted to learning.
Elle was a kindred spirit and enriched the lives of everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. As a lasting tribute to Elle, let's pass on her love by complimenting others and allowing her radiance to shine through our smiles.
