Learned today, 11/8/18 of Erik's death.  We knew each other over the years going back almost two decades. Had not seen him since his beautiful wedding. His smile and grace were as big as his heart and brought happiness which could not be avoided to anyone around him. He was a most talented and modest craftsman. 

His passing, far too early is a loss to all who knew and loved him. I am sorry to learn of the passing of someone who always made things a lot better.

I've known Erik since I was ten years old. I never realized he had been one of our greatest family friends for seventeen years. From my earliest memory of him building me a window seat/ toy chest for my bedroom as a child, to laughing at jokes together at our family Halloween party as an adult, Erik had always brought  smiles to my family and my face even in the toughest of times. I will miss those bear hugs and laugh, my heart hurts.. My best thoughts and wishes go out to lovely Mary Kate and the Fry family in this time..

Erik was a friend to my family and myself for 17 years.  His joyful spirit and big bear hugs will be dearly missed.  My heart is heavy.

Erik always had a good story to tell and we will miss him.

I knew Erik throughout the years. He had an infectious energy and great enthusiasm for life. Like many who have signed this guest book I met him in the capacity of his contractor work. He had that drive to fix and create projects with very little and make what ever he did huge and great. He was truly a stand up guy. He had this spirit about him and he became instant friends to my family and I. My heart goes out to Mary Kate ,the kids, and to all their family. Rest in peace brother.

Erik was a caring and thoughtful man, who served his clients with great care.

Words cannot express the sadness we feel. Our hearts go out to the Fry family. We had only recently become acquainted with Erik, but learned quickly what a great guy he was. His older brother, Kurt was a great friend of ours. We will miss them both.

Erik, you are missed so much. And you'll continue to be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

Erik was my neighbor. He was a great guy to have around. Always very friendly and always had a smile to share. He not only looked out for his neighbors but also was the first in line to help out. We will miss seeing him play with his dog in the park.

Please accept my deepest sympathy and my prayers to you, the family of Erik. Erik was a part of our family too for many years as he was Todd's best friend in grade school. He was such a bright and shining light of a kid!  He will be missed. He and you will all be in my prayers. May he rest in Peace and May Eternal Light shine upon him forever!
