Erik was raised in Kinnelon, New Jersey, and pursued his passion for art at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. His creativity and talent led him to Hollywood, where he built a distinguished career in the entertainment industry, creating special effects for both film and television.
Known for his creative imagination and sharp sense of humor, Erik brought joy and laughter to those around him. He had a deep love for dogs and shared a special bond with the pets that were part of his life over the years. In his free time, he enjoyed painting, sculpting, creating marionettes, and performing magic tricks—expressions of his artistry and playful spirit.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation in Erik’s honor. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
