Allen, Ernest Scott 93 Jan. 22, 1918 June 17, 2011 Ernest was born in Billings, Mont., to Elmer and Orla Allen. He later moved to Vancouver to join the U.S. Army in 1938. He and Elsie Linger were married Dec. 2, 1939. Their daughter, Bonnie, passed away in 1966. Ernest was a tanker driver for Union Oil Company for 35 years. He also had 55 years with the Masons, Al Kader Shriners and Elks at Gateway. He volunteered as a driver for Shriner's Hospital for Children. He is survived by his wife, Elsie. No services will be held. At Ernest's request, flower donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangements under the direction of Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes, Portland, OR.
