Errol H. Golsan of Beaverton, Oregon passed away early Thursday Morning with his loving family by his side. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 4, 2012, at 1pm, at the Beacon Hill building of the the LDS church in Beaverton, Oregon.
Errol was born January 16, 1938, in Murray, Utah, to his parents Milton and Bessie (Headman) Golsan. Errol was a very accomplished individual. He received his associate degree in Business Management and served in the Army National Guard. Errol worked at Intel as an industrial engineer for many years. While working in California, Errol met Charlotte George who became his wife and the mother of their four children. They were married June 12th, 1973, in Reno, Nevada.
Errol was an avid writer with several writings to be published. He was known for his storytelling and random spates of poetry.
Errol’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Charlotte Golsan; his four sons, Michael, Chris, Keith, and Eric; daughters in law, Jennifer, Angela, and Cindee; 24 grandchildren, Nicholas, Kathryn, Alicia, Madeline, Jacob, JaNea, Joseph, Marcus, Kristina, Joshua, Melissa, Alex, Matt, Kyra, Sam, Mia, Kaleb, Lehi, Ethan, Jada, Nathan, Jamie, Elias, and Nash; one great-grandchild, Liam; brothers, Bruce, and Corey; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Errol was a loving son, friend, husband, father, and grandfather and he will be missed immeasurably.
