Eugene "Gene" Gill was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1930. He died peacefully in his sleep on July 27th, 2012 at his home in Portland, OR.
Gene was an accomplished watercolor artist and after he retired from a career in advertising and illustration, he worked from his home studio capturing the unique scenes and flavors of Portland in his paintings.
He will be greatly missed by family and his many friends.
