Eula Louise Gooch was born in Purdin, MO, to parents Francis and Hazel (Tate) Gooch on August 5, 1931. In the late 1930's her family came to Portland, OR. Eula Grew up in Portland and called Portland home for the rest of her life. She had two brothers, James and Edwin. Eula worked for 35 years for Sandrerson Safety Supply, a major West Coast safety equipment supplier. There she served as treasurer and office manager. In her spare time, Eula enjoyed gardening and golf. She also enjoyed travel. A favorite destination was Las Vegas, Nevada. Eula liked to visit the Oregon Coast and once she took her mother with her to Hawaii. Eula is survived by her son, Randy (wife Diane); brothers James (wife Donna) and Edwin Gooch; and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial gathering will take place to celebrate her life. Eula will be privately laid to rest in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
