and Esther Tontz. Evelyn was a member of the graduating class of Washington High School, January, 1943, where she met her future husband, Richard Muir. They were married on May 24, 1947. Evelyn and Dick are remembered for their commitment to their family and their wide ranging care for friends. Evelyn is especially remembered for her love for God and her Christian faith.
Evelyn was predeceased by Richard, after 56 years of marriage. She is survived by one sister, her 5 children, their spouses, 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, as well as an adopted family.
