She was born in Hebron, Nebraska on April 8, 1936.
Fern graduated from Parkrose High School, and was later married to Murl Nichols.
Fern worked both as a receptionist, and raised her children Mark, Barry, and Craig.
She is survived by her sons, Mark, Barry and Craig, and was predeceased by husband Murl.
A celebration of Fern’s life will be held December 17, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home – 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086.
