

Frank "Cliff" Clifford Johnson Jr., was born Nov. 8, 1934, in Portland, and passed away May 13, 2015, at the age of 80 with family by his side. He lived in Portland throughout his life. Upon graduating from Franklin High School, Cliff served in the U.S. Air National Guard followed by the U.S. Postal Service where he retired in 1992 after 39 years as a letter carrier. Cliff married Ann Tabler May 16, 1959, and together they had seven children. He enjoyed traveling to new places including cruises to Alaska, Hawaii and the Carib- bean, as well as spending time at the Oregon coast. Cliff enjoyed attending sporting events and other activities of his grandchildren. He also spent time going on long walks, going to the gym, gardening, fishing with family members and volunteering for the St. Rose of Lima Conference of St. Vincent de Paul. Cliff was preceded in death by his sons, baby boy Johnson and Craig Johnson; parents; and siblings. Cliff is survived by his wife, Ann; daughters, Cindy Burke (Frank), Cheryl Benson (James), Connie DeVaney (Tom), Christine Uerling (Russ) and Colleen Martin (Jim); and seven grandchildren. Following a rosary, a funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2727 N.E. 54th Ave,, Portland, OR 97213. A burial will be held in Mt.
