I miss you so much Georgene. But I know that you are in a place surrounded with your loved ones. 
2 years since I have seen your smile, and saw you light up around Josie. 
Till we meet again.

I have known Georgene since I was sixteen years old.  I am now seventy-one.   She was the sweetest and most devoted person to our Savior.  I am glad that she is resting in peace.


     As kids Georgene and I and our family's spent many holidays         
           together. Many beach trips to Seaview Washington to go 
          clamming.  And of course trips to the cabin on the Deschutes 
          River for fishing. 
          I remember her big smiles and laughter and she loved hugs.
          When we were in grade school I gave her Chicken Pox, and I 
         always felt bad about that.

I am honored to have known Georgene. She loved God and Bible Study and had a gentleness about her. I will miss her but know that she is at Peace now with our Lord and Savior.

The best parts of me - my empathy, compassion, patience and desire to help others - exists because Georgene was in my life.  She was my Hero~
She touched my family’s life just as we touched hers, especially my mother Gizella who she lovingly called, “Mom”.  God blessed us with her family and sent her as an Angel to teach us never to complain or criticize, to pursue dignity, justice, excellence and integrity.  These are the essence of the true human spirit, built to endure all obstacles with God’s healing love.

Forever Grateful.
I’ve rewritten this several times in hope of capturing what Georgene truly meant to me and to us as a family.
A few years ago,
 Georgene showed me an article of how she had volunteered her time to a local cause. 
But what stood out to me in that article was, she had said “Thank You mom and dad for everything you have done for me”
Georgene loved with all her heart. Praised with all her heart. Worshipped with all her heart. 
I’ve known Georgene since I was 11, she called me her sister and she treated me as such.
I haven’t come across thus far a woman who has the ability to worship god despite as she had said in the article “my real parents didn’t want me” She had a soul who despite anything that may have stood in her way she chose to grow in faith.
She was thankful every day and was happy to play with us, guide us, and just be around us growing up. 
Forever I will be grateful for such a wonderful role model. Only God could have planned this out so perfectly to have her in our lives.
I will always remember her singing hymns at the computer when she wasn’t able to be at church.
Always praising God no matter where she was. 
I will forever be grateful to have been able to know her and will keep her memory alive by telling others about the wonderful way she lived and loved the Lord.
I will miss you so much sister.  
Until we meet again. What a day of rejoicing that will be. Together we can sing once again the rejoicing songs of the Lord. 
With a broken heart I finish my final farewell to you.

Georgene I will miss your smile, independence and laughter.  You will be forever in my heart.  My life will be so different with you in it.  I know you are dancing with the angels now and at peace.  Love always Donna

Georgene was a fun and lovely lady who always had a smile for everyone. May she rest in peace but her bright spirit live on.
