Gilbert was a devoted husband and father who found fulfillment in the simple yet meaningful moments shared with his family.
Throughout his career, Gilbert worked as a service station attendant, flagger, and security guard. In each role, he demonstrated steadfast commitment and an admirable work ethic that earned him respect from colleagues and acquaintances alike.
Gilbert is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 32 years, Naomi May Nevers; his children Christina Marie Nevers, Isaac Anthony Nevers, Marie Leigh Saddler, Charles Edward Doty, Edward Paul Doty Jr., and Naomi Kristol "Joi" Otten; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward his memory with love and gratitude.
