

Gloria Faulk was born in Kelso, Washington and passed away in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Cleveland High School in Portland. She worked as a typist for an insurance agency and went on to be a stay-at-home mom for a number of years.
Family was very important to Gloria and she adored being a grandmother and later a great-grandmother. Gloria loved going on outings. She would take public transportation to meet her friends every morning for coffee and donuts. When family suggested a trip was in order, Gloria was always excited to drop everything and run off on a road trip. She loved going to the beach and would visit Sauvie Island every fall.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Faulk; grandson Michael Blades; great-granddaughter Kayleigh Arnold; parents: Joe and Ina Simonson; and siblings: Richard Simonson, Hazel Carp, Joyce Nyman and Frances VonProtz. She is survived by her children: Laura Blades, James Faulk and Virginia Faulk; grandchildren: Amy, Ricky, Nico and Krystina; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Lincoln Memorial Park, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland.
