Griffin James Felt passed away on February 20, 2014 in Eugene, Oregon. Griffin was born on April 12, 1993 in Portland, Oregon to Jim Felt and Jody Hills. Griffin attended Franciscan Montessori Earth School and Riverdale High School. After graduating high school, Griffin attended the University of Oregon where he was in the Journalism Program.
