Henry Chamberlin

Obituary

Henry Chamberlin, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, was born on July 24, 1947 in Newport, Oregon to Thomas and Sally Chamberlin. Henry lived in Newport until he was 11 years old when his family moved to Europe. During that time, Henry studied yacht building and began to design and build yachts.

When Henry returned to the United States, he continued to design and build yachts, sailboats, and custom homes. In 1977 he married Lois Lilley who died in 1990 and with whom he had two children, Scarlet Murl and Henry Skylr.

In December of 1992, Henry married Susan Shadburne of Portland, Oregon and they combined their families.

Henry is survived by his wife Susan, son Skylr Chamberlin of Portland, daughter Scarlet Chamberlin of Portland, three step-children, two sisters, and three brothers. He was pre- deceased by a fourth brother in 2003 and by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of his Life at a later date.
