Iris Kathleen Stoffer

Iris Kathleen Stoffer, age 91, passed away on Wednesday September 17, 2025, at home. She is survived by her loving husband, Don, and her children, Sandy (Dave), Lori, Traci (Scott), Tami (Dave), 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her parents were Amos and Henrietta Beaudoin and her beloved siblings, Yvonne, Molly, Colin, Jack and Cheri, all preceded her in death.

Iris and her husband Don met while attending Grant High School in Portland Oregon and spent over 70 Years together happily married. Her strong faith and the love for her family were what carried her through life. She worked in Insurance, at Hershey’s local warehouse and was part time bookkeeper for her husband’s dental practice. She attended Grace Lutheran Church as a child and was confirmed in her faith in 1948 and worshipped here for the rest of her life. She loved Tole Painting, knitting, baking bread, golfing, card games, reading and caring for her grandchildren.

Iris loved to chat and make new friends everywhere she went. She and Don had friends at church, in the neighborhood, at their pharmacy, grocer, coffee shop/bakery and eating establishments they frequented. She will be remembered fondly.

Iris loved donating to St. Jude’s so if you would like to donate in her memory this would be her favorite.
