James Michael Cropper – known to us all as “Jamie” Son of Mick and Cheryl Cropper, brother to Jodie Cropper and Evangalena Cadola, passed away suddenly on Friday October 19 2018, while receiving medical treatment in hospital in his hometown of Pittsburgh PA.

Jamie was born in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England on April 3rd 1978. Relocated to Beaverton Oregon in April 1989 at the age of 11. Attended Errol Hassel Elementary School. Mountain View Junior High and Aloha High School from where he graduated in the class of 1996. He went on to further education at Oregon State University and Portland State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2008.

In 2009 Jamie followed his ambition of becoming an educator by relocating to Alexandria VA. Working there in Government Funded Science Education programs for High School students. He followed his own post graduate education in studies at George Mason University. He also followed his many various social interests working evenings as a Karaoke KJ until 2017 when he relocated again. This time to Pittsburgh PA.

Jamie’s life was filled with many varied interests. He greatly enjoyed social evenings with his many friends. He had a love for nature and the environment and greatly enjoyed many hikes and camping trips with friends and family. He will be remembered fondly as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and lifelong friend. The good times we all shared will be held dearly in our hearts and memories.

In lieu of flowers please consider A Living Tribute in Jamie's honor.
