He was born May 29 1931 in Scobey, Montana to James, Sr. and Delia Gaines. Jim worked as a Stationary Engineer for Kirkland Union Manor, retiring in 1993. He was a member of local union 87. Jim enjoyed designing and working in his yard. He was a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, watching football and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joanne; daughters, Debbie Moore, Dianna Agon, Donna Eberle, Theresa Haga, and Geraldine Gaines; grandchildren, Kylie, Rachel, Taylor, Chase, Nichole, Cayla, Ashley, Rebecca, and Cory; great-grandchildren, Brady, Jaydn, and Gabriella; and three brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Skyline Memorial Gardens.
