James Jim Francis Moreland

James (Jim) Francis Moreland was born on May 17,1961in Seattle, Washington. He died on October 4, 2016 in Gresham, Oregon. He died from complications of liver and kidney failure. He grew up in Portland, Oregon and attended Fernwood Elementary school and Central Catholic High School. The great joy of his life was spending time with the many friends he had over the years. He loved many types of sports especially basketball, baseball and Golf and watching football. He had many difficult times in his life and his family is grateful that he is now at peace with Our Lord. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Moreland. His survived by his mother, Joan Moreland, brothers Mike Moreland, Mark Moreland (Amy) and Gene Moreland and his sister Marianne Seifer (Les) as well as 12 nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Holy Family Parish SE Cesar Chavez Blvd (39th st) and SE Flavel Portland, OR 97202. A reception to immediately follow.
