

Jane Ann Dunafon passed away in her Battle Ground, WA home on March 12, 2024 at the age of 75. Jane was born on April 24, 1948 in Grand Island, NE to Harlan and Luella (Jessup) Dunafon, and moved to Portland in 1962. She was a 1966 graduate of Marshall High School. In the 1960s, she worked at KPTV and as a Teacher’s Aide in the David Douglas School District. Eventually she began a career as a pharmacy technician and retired from Consonus Pharmacy in 2017.
Jane loved gardening, clogging, collecting lighthouses and carrousels, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends and loving on her grandchildren.
She will be missed and remembered by her three daughters, Gena Epton, Rhonda Henkel, and Janelle Flanigan; two brothers, Leland Dunafon and Rodney Dunafon (with one brother having preceded her in death); seven grandchildren, Karyn Davis, Jacob Epton, Robbie Epton, Kacy Epton, Joshua Henkel, Indiana Hellstrom, and Noah Fletcher; and two great-grandchildren, Baillie and Serenity.
Jane’s life will be celebrated in services at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 1:30 pm, with a reception to follow. Interment in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery will be private.
Her family requests donations in her name to an Alzheimer’s research charity of your choice.
