

Jane Eggiman passed away on December 19, 2022, in Beaverton, Oregon, at the age of 93, due to Alzheimer's complications. She was born on August 13,1929 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Cora and Henry Thomsen (deceased).
After graduating from Neillsville High School, Wisconsin, in 1947, Jane went on to school in Minneapolis at Miss Woods Primary Training School. She then started teaching in Minneapolis in 1949.
Jane married U.S. Marine Robert (Bob) Eggiman on July 28, 1951, at the famous Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. Due to the fact that she married a Marine, there were several moves to different locations across the country, with home base always being Beaverton, Oregon. Jane guarded the home front while Bob was in Korea and Vietnam.
Jane's hobbies and interests included motor home travel to National parks, Canada, beach trips, bridge groups, pinochle, monthly Bunco group, jigsaw puzzles, Word Jumbles, Sudoku, and computer games.
Preceded in death by: Cora Thomsen and Henry Thomsen, and brother Roger Thomsen. Survived by: Husband of 71 years, 1st Sergeant Robert R. Eggiman, USMC Retired, her children, Julie (husband Richard), Jan, Gary (wife Shari); grandchildren: Jennifer Baker of Sherwood; Matthew Dagel of Omaha; Michael Brown of Portland; Katelyn Eggiman of Seattle; Robby Eggiman of Los Angeles, great-grandchildren: Brianna of Sherwood; Xander of Sherwood; Sophia of Omaha; and Thomas of Omaha.
Jane's remains are at Finley-Sunset Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
The Memorial Service will be held at Pilgrim Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. on January 14, 2023. Please join us in celebrating the life of this amazing woman!
