

Janet Lenor Anderson Hollister peacefully passed away from complications associated with Alzheimer's disease at the age of eighty-nine on March 18, 2024, at the Mirabella retirement home in Seattle, WA, where she resided for 14 years.
Jan will always be remembered for her passionate spirit, in work and play, and the boundless joy she brought to all who knew her. Her life was a tapestry of remarkable adventures, brimming with love and laughter. From the moment she met her husband Evertt (Ev) in a dance school to their enduring 55 years of marriage, their shared adventures served as an inspiration to all who witnessed their fiery bond.
Janet's hard work, adept management of mobile home parks, and her insatiable zest for life were a testament to her resilience and strength. Whether she was skiing down slopes, casting a line for fishing, pitching tents for camping trips, or exploring the depths of the sea through scuba diving, Jan approached every experience with infectious enthusiasm and an adventurous spirit. Her innate creativity shone through in her ability to host unforgettable parties and create lasting memories for her loved ones, reflecting her vibrant and lively character.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Gladys Anderson, husband Voss Everette Hollister, son Richard Hollister, and siblings Dewayne Anderson and Dorthy Anderson-Phillips. Janet's legacy will endure through her daughter Holly Hollister-Kemery, grandsons Brian and Dustin Thomas, Cody, Tyler, and Spencer Hollister, and her only granddaughter Kendal Kemery, as well as nine beloved great-grandchildren. May they take solace in the cherished memories they shared with her and the enduring love she bestowed upon them throughout her life.
