February 3, 2025, just shy of his 55th birthday. Born in Denver, Colorado, to Terry and Eloise
Chambers, Jason spent his early years in Colorado before moving to Portland, Oregon, where he
graduated from Westside Christian High School. He later attended Westmont College in Santa
Barbara, earning a degree in business—a fitting foundation for the entrepreneurial spirit that
defined his life.
Jason was a lifelong entrepreneur with an unstoppable drive. From his early days running a sports
card shop to establishing a successful chain of cell phone stores, and ultimately creating a
renowned steakhouse and beloved cigar bar, Jason followed his passions with determination. He
built more than businesses—he built experiences, friendships, and lasting memories.
Jason is survived by his father, Terry Chambers, and brother, Jeff Chambers (Kelly); his uncle,
James Adams, and aunt, Glenda Chambers; his nieces, Savannah Cavalier (Brent), and Ashton
Connaughton (Jack), and nephew, Nick Chambers (Kate); as well as his great-nieces, Aria and
Macy Chambers. He also leaves behind a host of cousins and dear friends. Jason deeply felt the
loss of his beloved mother, Eloise, in 2022, but we take comfort in knowing they are now reunited
in heaven.
Jason lived a rich, adventure-filled life, filled with the things he loved most—sports, travel, great
food, and even greater company. Golf was his great escape, leading him to play some of the most
beautiful courses around the world. He was a natural host, always bringing people together for
poker nights, Final Four games, Super Bowl parties, and Christmas.. He had a taste for fine art,
fine cigars, and perfectly cooked steaks, and he shared that love generously with those lucky
enough to know him.
Jason’s legacy is one of independence, passion, and an unyielding love for the game—both on
and off the course. He played life on his own terms, embracing every challenge, every adventure,
and every friendship along the way.
Rest easy, Jason. The 19th hole awaits.
A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd at The Stockpot. 1-5 PM. 8200 Scholls
Ferry Rd, Beaverton, OR.
