Jeanette was born in Weston, WI May 2, 1927 and moved to Oregon at age 10. She came to know the Lord as her personal Savior at the age of 13. Christ was the center of her life; she shared her faith in Him, with her 6 children and those she met along life’s journey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Shanks Sr., and her son, Daniel Shanks. She is survived by her son, Joseph Shanks Jr., daughter, Marian Castillo, son, James Shanks, son, Ronald Miley, daughter, Estelle BigEagle, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Mon. April 8 at 11am at Clackamas Bible Church, 15655 SE Johnson Rd. Clackamas, OR. Viewing will be held Sun, April 7th from 1-5pm at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd. Portland, OR. 97086.
