Jeffery Allan Davis

Jeffery Allan Davis, 77, passed away peacefully at his home in Portland, Oregon, on August 18, 2025. Born on May 21, 1948, to Conrad and Shirley Davis, Jeff grew up in Portland and graduated from Grant High School. His passion for golf led him to the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California, where he furthered his game and built lasting friendships.

In 1972, Jeff married the love of his life, Margaret M. Durbin (Maggie). Together, they enjoyed 53 wonderful years of marriage, building a family and creating a lifetime of memories.

A passionate outdoorsman, Jeff found joy in golfing, fishing, and hunting, often combining his love for these activities with his career. Jeff worked at Allstate Insurance, where he not only helped clients navigate their insurance needs but also built meaningful connections, often spending hours on the golf course with potential clients. His ability to connect with others was one of his greatest strengths, and he always knew how to make people feel welcome.

Above all, Jeff was known for his warmth, his smile, and his unwavering kindness. He had an incredible ability to make everyone feel like family, and his generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maggie, daughters, Tammy and Melanie, four grandchildren, Maggie, Paige, Carter, and Jackson and sisters Debra (Ric) and Sally. Jeff’s legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will continue to live on through his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on September 10, 2025, at Ross Hollywood Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Life at Riverside Golf and Country Club at 1:00 PM.
