Jerry was born on February 29, 1960 in Flushing, Queens, New York. His mother, Madeline Schneider resides in Fort Lee, New Jersey; his father Harold precedes him in death. Jerry leaves behind two children: Lena Beth Schneider of Kennebunkport, Maine, and Saul Roddick Schneider of Lake Oswego, Oregon. Jerry’s brothers are Ron Schneider (Beth) of Bellingham, Washington and Mark Schneider of San Mateo, California. Jerry’s nephews are Jake and Aidan Schneider, sons of Mark Schneider.
Jerry enjoyed music of all types, movies, his many friends, and yard sales.
A celebration of life will be held in the fall; there will be live music and lots of potatoes — two of Jerry’s favorite things. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the International Bluegrass Music Association, Planned Parenthood, or the American Cancer Society.
