Died January 5, 2016 in Portland, OR.
Joanne died unexpectedly a few days after a fifteen day family cruise.
She was the daughter of Augusta and Ned Marini, of Greenville, PA.
Joanne graduated from Slippery Rock College, Stanford University, and she also attended Boston University and the University of Pennsylvania.
She taught school in Greenville, PA; San Francisco, CA, and Portland, OR. She was an avid traveler and enthusiastic gambler.
She loved her car, animals, and relatives, and her intellect was unmatchable.
Joanne is survived by her brother, Edward, of Jamestown, PA; her sisters Patricia, of Queensland, Australia; and Mary Blake of Portland, OR.
She ahs two nieces, PJ, and Sue; and two nephews, Michael (Sally), and Rick (Janice); as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at a later date in Greenville, PA.
