The first time I met John he walked in with a beautiful smile on his face. I met and worked with him at The Regence Group. I appreciated his easy going spirit as it made working through issues fun and easy. Keep smiling John, rip.

I also worked with John for many, many years. We enjoyed a friendship throughout those years, sharing lunches, hikes and even backpacking in the Wallowa’s with family and mutual friends. Even though it's been several years since I've seen John, I've always felt he was one of those special people you could pick up with where you left off, no matter how much time had passed. There are no words to express how deeply sorry I am to learn of his passing. Sending prayers of peace and comfort to May and the rest of John's family and friends.

My wife Joni and I worked with John for many years. We found out in casual conversation that we had property within a half a mile of each other in Bend. John always joked that anyone that wanted to come to Bend and cut some of his trees down to save him some work was welcome to do so! I don't think I ever saw John without a smile on his face, and he always had a kind word to say.
